At Everly we love style, travel, the arts and life. We also believe it’s important to give back.
That’s why we’ve chosen to donate part proceeds from the sale of our magazines to a range of amazing not-for-profits. By purchasing a print or digital copy of Everly, you’ll be helping to support:
Issue 3
Gidget Foundation Australia
Gidget Foundation exists to support the emotional wellbeing of expectant and new parents to ensure they receive timely, appropriate and specialist care. They raise awareness of perinatal depression and anxiety and provide support for those in need. The inside back cover of Issue 3 features their Start Talking program, which provides free national telehealth pyschological counselling services.
Issue 2
Bangarra Dance Theatre
Bangarra is one of Australia’s leading performing arts companies. They are a company of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performers, bringing their cultures and stories to the world. You can read more about the origins of Bangarra in Issue 2 where we take a closer look at the fascinating documentary Firestarter – The story of Bangarra.
Issue 1
Change the record
A national Aboriginal led justice coalition of legal, health and family violence prevention experts, whose mission is to end the incarceration of, and family violence against, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
RizeUp
Driving awareness of domestic and family violence and bringing about life-changing, practical support for families affected, giving them hope and empowerment to move on to a life free from violence.
Creative Partnerships Australia (The Australian Cultural Fund)
Sparking investment in the arts by fostering giving and partnerships between the cultural sector, supporters and investors. They equip artists and arts organisations with fundraising and development skills to succeed.
We would also like to acknowledge the amazing work of Queensland Ballet, as they celebrate 60 years in 2020. Like many in the performing arts sector, Queensland Ballet has been impacted by COVID-19 and they have made the decision to reschedule their 2020 season to next year.
The Keep the Magic Alive campaign is working hard to support their dancers, creatives and behind-the-scenes enablers through this difficult time. Everly is proud to shine a light on this wonderful campaign, which you’ll find featured within the pages of Issue 1.
